For nearly 20 years, Kumi worked as an esthetician helping clients look and feel their best, building her hands-on bodywork foundation as a massage therapist at Burke Williams, Spa Bar, and a chiropractic office. Before becoming an RN, she worked as a CNA in home care. After nine years of prerequisites, she entered nursing school at 37 — and made her dream real. Today she practices at an aesthetic medical clinic in Los Angeles while providing concierge post-op care.
Surgery is only the beginning — real recovery happens afterward. No one should navigate a post-op recovery alone, especially far from home and in a second language. That conviction led Kumi to recertify with CAMTC and found KumiRN Aesthetics, supporting recovery with both aesthetic and nursing expertise.
